All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico For Adults Only

Lisa asks…

Where to go in Mexico with 2 daughters, ages 9 &13?

We’re planning a trip to Mexico, taking my 2 step daughters with us. We’ve never been anywhere in Mexico, and would like some ideas on where to go. We want an all inclusive resort that has just as much for kids and teens as they do for adults, maybe more. The other couple going with us has a baby, that will be about 1 when we go. Any ideas?
We are planning a trip to Mexico as a family, and we’ve never been anywhere in Mexico. What’s a good allinclusive resort to go to?

Tijuana answers:

Maybe the best place for americans, are places like acapulco, cancun, mazatlan or huatulco.

Any beach in Mexico is tropical water, night life, amusement parks, and lots of places for kids, like minigolf, horse riding, etcetera.

If this is the first time, I would recommend Acapulco or Mazatlan.

Good Luck.

John asks…

Has anyone stayed at excellence riviera cancun or Sensatori hotel?

I want to go middle of june 2012 for two weeks with my parner all Inc 5*. I would like any help possible regarding what is a good last min price. Also location and Value for money, thanks x

Tijuana answers:

My wife and I travel to the Mayan Riviera each year for a two week holiday. Our first trip we stayed at the Excellence Riviera in the club section, and enjoyed our stay very much. There are several top of the line restaurants, and service is very good. The club section gives you some extra perks that are worth the extra $. Http://excellence-resorts.com/caribbean-and-mexico-destinations/excellence-riviera-cancun This resort is adults only.
The Sensatori, is a family resort run by the Karisma resorts. We now stay at one of the sister resorts called El Dorado Casitas which is a better section of the El Dorado Royale and Spa. We have had the opportunity to visit the other resorts on a day trip which included the Sensatori. All were very nice resorts, but only being there for the day, it’s difficult to give it a recommendation. I do know the EDC is the nicest place we have stayed at, and will continue to do so. The down side of this resort is a breakwater a few yards off the beach, but it does allow for swimming safely. We prefer the pool area anyway. Http://www.karismahotels.com/Destination The Excellence is a good choice. We would go back there if for some reason we couldn’t go to our favorit resort.

All of these resorts are just south of Cancun. The resorts mentioned also have a shuttle service to and from Cancun and Playa del Carmen, and puts you closer to the theme parks and other excursions you might want to do. What ever you choose, i’m sure you’ll have a great holiday.

Almost forgot. Your getting into the low season, so prices will be lower. We do the all inclusive package which includes flight. This also reduces the cost somewhat.

William asks…

does the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana use wrist bands?

Going to a new resort in a new place for us. The hotels we stay at in Cuba do not use wristbands as they are adult only places. The Majestic Elegance is adult only BUT I really don’t like the idea of having to wear a wrist band for the entire week to get service. Also how does it work with the premium booze? A buddy of mine got stuck with a bar bill for the premium booze in Mexico, he wasn’t a happy camper at check out and LOL his wife wasn’t happy with him. All he said to me was that you have to be careful when ordering drinks.

Tijuana answers:

Most adult only resorts don’t need to give wrist bands. They know everyone will be an adult and of drinking age. As for the booze, if you order a bottle of wine other than house wine, you will be charged extra. They charge one hell of a price for these wines so be careful what you order. I have never payed extra for any other liquor in the all inclusive resorts in Cuba, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, or Dominican Republic. Depending on the part of some resorts in Mexico, such as the low end, you may pay extra if asking for a bottle of Black Label Scotch for your room bar.
