All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico For Couples

Lizzie asks…

I am going to cancun, mexico and i was wanting to know if anyone knew of a good all-inclusive resort?

We are a young couple and want to be able to lay on a beautiful beach at a nice resort and i would like to know who it would be better to go through (travel agency wise) I dont want to spend over 1500.00 but i want to have a memorable experiance. Thanks for the help!

Tijuana answers:

Go to and read the reviews and look at the pictures from real people that have been there. If you go through a travel agency you can pay it out kinda like layaway. If you start planning early enough you may be able to afford just what you are looking for. Hope you have a great vacation.

Helen asks…

Has anyone been to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico?

Im a 34 year old male planning on going with a couple of friends for this New Years.
We are all single; was looking for hotel suggestions: want 4 stars and up and would like to be on the beach.

Also, I hear there is a on of fun things to do (Ruins tours, ATVing, ziplining, etc.)

Is there on central website where I can find info on the above?

Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Tijuana answers:

There are dozens of hotels in Playa. My advice would be to stay on the Quinta (5th Avenue) in town where there are numerous hotels and you are close to all of the nightlife. You will be a block or two from the beach. There are numerous resorts on the outskirts of town, but these are primarily all-inclusives and you will have to cab it to and from town. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of all-inclusives as you see the same people everyday and I hate always eating and drinking at the same restaurants & bar.

There are numerous tours that you can take depending on your interests. Be sure to go to Tulum to see the ruins there and if you have time try to make it to Chitzen Itza, which is farther. You might also want to check out Xcaret Park or take the ferry across to Cozumel. Cozumel has amazing snorkeling and scuba diving. Check out the east side (wild side) of the Island for some amazing beaches.

As a start try, although you will find numerous websites.

Lisa asks…

can anyone recommend a good 5* resort on the riviera maya, mexico?

We stayed at the Gran Bahia Principe a few years ago on our honeymoon. We loved it and want to go back.

We may go back to same resort but want to check out some others too. We want 5*, nice food, 24 hr all inclusive, by a beach and nice pools. Also needs to be kid friendly.

Any suggestions?
