All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico For Honeymoons

Michael asks…

Do you have any recommendations for things to do in Cozumel from October 7 through the 13?

We’ll be there on our honeymoon, so we don’t need to do much of anything else, but just wanted to see what you would recommend. We are staying at an all inclusive resort, but restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated too.

Tijuana answers:

I just returned from Cozumel Mexico and have some suggestions.
#1. Scuba Diving: This is one of the best places in the world for Scuba Diving, so if you’ve ever thought about trying it, do your in-class at home so you can do your certification dives down south. It is absolutely spectacular! This is like snorkling 1000 times better.
#2. Rent a Jeep: Drive around the island (there is only one road that goes all the way around) and visit “Coconuts”. It’s a restaurant/bar located on the east side of the island (all the resorts and town are on the west side) and is on the highest part of Cozumel. It’s very relaxing and definately worth a visit.
#3. San Gervasio: These are Mayan Ruin’s located on Cozumel. You don’t have to book a tour, you can go there if you rent a Jeep, pay to enter and they give you a guide that tells you everything. It is said that every Mayan woman had to travel to Cozumel and make an offering at San Gervasio for fertility.
#4. Restaurants to go to: La Choza for authentic, good mexican/mayan food. La Cabana de Pescador for Lobster.
If you are staying at either the Iberostar or the Grand Occidental, walk down the beach to Alberto’s (2 minute walk). He makes amazing seafood.

Daniel asks…

what is an all inclusive resort?

I’m going on my honeymoon in Oct. and staying in an all inclusive resort in Mexico. Just curious what that includes.

Tijuana answers:

Depending on which resort will tell what’s included but most all-inclusives are standard All; meals, drinks(including alcohol), and water sports.

The resorts usually have websites you can look at…

Nancy asks…

Any ideas for month of May island getaway for honeymoon that won’t break the bank?

We’ll be flying out of Houston and would love any ideas on how to spend a week on a pristine island beach on the cheap – but not that cheap I guess….economical.

Any ideas on ball parking the amount we’d be looking at or what you spent wuld be awesome!

Tijuana answers:

You best bet is to figure out where you want to go in the Caribbean or Mexico. So many deals out there especially for May. It all depends what YOUR budget is and how many days you want to be away. What you would like to do on your honeymoon. One thing for sure look for all-inclusive resorts. Your meals and drinks will be included with your room. At least you will know that is taken care of.

If none of these sites do it for you, go to your local travel agency for help.

Here are my favorite website for travel

Here is website for cruises, since you live in Houston you can save on airfare. Galveston is your port of departure.

Good Luck, I hope this hepls)
