All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico For Kids

David asks…

Id like to get married at a Carribean all inclusive. Are there any good places or contacts anyone can give me

Any information anyone can give me will be useful!

Tijuana answers:

I am a travel agent and do many destination weddings.

No matter where you decide to get married, PLEASE, do not try to do it yourself. Every major Caribbean destination/resort has a wedding planning staff – their services are invaluable – I’ve seen brides become terribly stressed that have not used a planner.

Now, on to the question you asked – the best place. If your guests are all adults (no one under 18 permitted) I would recommend any of the three Sandals resorts on St. Lucia. If you’ve got some kids in the mix, just forget about Sandals, but look at other resorts on the island. Other “favorites” spots are: Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Riviera Maya (south of Cancun, Mexico), and St. Thomas, (US Virgin Islands). The big advantage with St. Thomas, is that is a US territory and if you get married there, it considered to be in the US!

The only other pieces of advice I would leave with you are #1) use a travel agent that has experience working with destination weddings and wedding planners; #2) a more “upscale” and “all-inclusive” resort seems to yield the best, easiest, most memorable results.

Congratulations and enjoy the planning!

Donald asks…

What part of Mexico is best for honeymooners?

No kids, no crazy Cancun crowds…

Tijuana answers:

Go to Playa Del Carmen. It is about 30 – 45 minutes south of Cancun. It is a more quiant town, not a party central at all. They have a 4 block stetch of just street shops you can shop at in town.

I stayed at the El Dorado Royale. It was all inclusive and best part was, no kids allowed in the resort! It was basically a bunch of honeymooners, vacationers. 7 excellant restaurants (and I’m a foody), there bars were good too (martini car, numerous beach side bars), service excellant throughout the resort. I plan on going back to that resort at some point after taking a few other trips elsewhere.

Thomas asks…

Help with finding a vacation destination for this winter?

2 parents, 2 kids ages 15 and 13
We want to go somewhere for vacation for a few days this winter around christmas, not mexico though maybe the somewhere in the caribbean or around mexico though would be fine. We need suggestions for some good countries to go and if you want to be really helpful you could even suggest a resort, here is a list of things we would like there

Some restaurants in the resort
A beach we could go to with some waves
possibly something like snorkeling

Tijuana answers:

I would suggest Costa Rica
lots of good deals now for winter vacationing there. It’s reasonable and NOT Mexico!

Google all inclusive in Costa Rica
