All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico Playa Del Carmen

Susan asks…

Anyone stay at either of these 2 resorts in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico?

My in-laws are taking the whole family on an allinclusive trip this November. We live in Massachusetts. She has it narrowed down to these 2 resorts.
1.Sandos Playacar Beach and Resort
2.Riu Playacar Resort

Anyone stay at either? I want honest opinions of the 2. My biggest thing is the beaches. I want crystal clear water, no seaweed, trash. I want to be able to see my feet at the bottom. I’ve read reviews on both and it’s about the same, some good, some not so good. What would you recommend between the 2. They’re are going to be 4 kids ages 10 and under also, so there has to be stuff for them to do as well. Also want good food and drinks, but the beach is number 1 for me. I want the prettiest.

Tijuana answers:

At Playa, any beach has cristal clear water and white sand.
I stayed at Riu, and definitely I strongly recommend it.
The staff is wonderful, always helpful and friendly
The resort is really nice.

I´m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

Going to Playa Del Carmen..Where to stay?

Were wanting to go to Playa Del Carmen Mexico sometime..Im wanting to know where is the best place to stay..I have heard some people say that you can stay somewhere on resorts or something and everything is free as long as you stay on resort..Like ur drinks, food, alcohol drinks..Someone I know stayed for a week and only spent $2,700 dollars for your room air flight there and back..But I cant find it anywhere..So if you have any ideas where to stay that is very pretty and nice let me know..Thanks..

Tijuana answers:

What you are referring to is an all-inclusive package and that includes your hotel, airfare, and unlimited food/drink. You have to book an all-inclusive package to receive all those benefits. When you book your trip you have to make sure it’s an all-inclusive package or you won’t get those things. There isn’t just one hotel that you go to and everything is free. Almost every hotel in Playa Del Carmen is all-inclusive though. To be honest your friend paid a little too much for his/her trip. That is pretty expensive. You can find a lot of better deals than that. There are many good resorts to choose from and some are any Riu , Barcelo, Iberostar to name a few. I’ll give you a few links where you can go and look at the hotels and see the prices of them so you can get an idea of what is available. Good luck on finding your perfect hotel.
