All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico Playa Del Carmen

Jenny asks…

Do prices for all-inclusive resorts in Mexico go up the closer the date gets?

I want to hold off on reserving our date at an all inclusive in Playa Del Carmen Mexico, I’m not worried about availability, but I need to save the money for it. Do the prices go up the closer to the date, like plane tickets do?

Tijuana answers:

Waiting could be hit or mis. If the hotel has rooms, prices may drop, however airfare may go up.Your best bet if you want to wait, is to find some sort of clearing house that sells packages, about 1-2 months before you want to go they have great deals. I don’t know where you live, but if you’re flying from Chicago or Milwaukee, you can check out WWW.TRAVELALLINCLUSIVE.COM. Again, find a clearing house in you area.

Carol asks…

What is the best way to go from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen?

We are traveling to Playa del Carmen in February. We are flying into Cancun. I understand that their are busses that can take you to Playa del Carmen. Are these busses safe? Where do you find these busses and where do they drop you off at? I dont really want to be dropped off anywhere in mexico. Thought it would be nice to be dropped off at the hotel. Also..is the area safe right now due to all of the drug cartels going on?

Tijuana answers:

If you are doing an all inclusive package, ( flight and resort ) your transportation to and from your resort will be provided. If your flight is separate from paying for the resort, you will need transportation to and from the airport. Email your resort and ask if they provide transportation. Most do at a price cheaper than a taxi. If not, here’s a site to check out. I hear they are very good. Http://www.cancuntransfers.com/faq.php They will drop you off at your resort.

Don’t worry about your safety in Cancun. You will be safer there than you are at home. Check the link below.

The only thing to fear in Cancun are the timeshare sharks at the airport. Once you clear customs, and security, don’t stop to talk to anyone until you get outside of the airport. This is where you will get your transportation. There will be people in the airport offering free rides and discounts on tours,, these are the timeshare sharks. They will tell you they are there to take you to your resort, and ask for your transfer papers. Just keep walking.

I know thats very vague, but if anyone knows.. please let ME know!

Tijuana answers:
