Ensenada Mexico Weather

Joseph asks…

Cruising weather Mexican Riviera in January?

We want to book a cruise but heard it can be pretty cold out at sea…anyone done this in January?

Tijuana answers:

So with this description – what do you consider the ‘Mexican Riviera’. All of Baja will be from cold to chilly. From Vallarta south will be comfortable. I live near Manzanillo and many cruzers stop here in the winter
The Mexican Riviera refers collectively to several cities and resorts lying on the western coast of Mexico. Although there are large distances between these cities, they are often referred to as the Mexican Riviera because of their popularity among tourists. Cruise ships often visit three or four of these destinations on their longer cruises.

Some areas that are considered part of the Mexican Riviera, listed in order from north to south:

Ensenada, Baja California
Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur
Mazatlán, Sinaloa
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
Manzanillo, Colima
The Ixtapa Resort Near Zihuatanejo, Guerrero
Acapulco, Guerrero

3 Day Cruise to Ensenada, Mexico in February or March. Weather?

I am looking into going on a cruise to Mexico in February or March.
What is the weather like at that time of the year?
I would really like to enjoy the pool on the boat and the beautiful beach in Mexico.
Let me know. 10 points to the best answer!

Tijuana answers:

About like San Diego. Pleasant. The beach and pool should be fine. My advise is to stay on board. If you miss Ensenada you will not miss much.

Carnival Cruise?

I just got back from a carnival cruise from Long beach to Ensenada,Mexico!!!
I had a blast!!
im planning on going next year at this time..
now i paid about 299 per person for a 4 day cruise line and it was like a week b4 the cruise. When im looking in a year advance why is like 419 or 339 or something more? do they raise the price every year? well if u know any other cruiseline that might be around 299 and in june 08 let me know

Tijuana answers:

It is the other way around. Sometimes, when they are getting close to starting the cruise, they have to fill rooms fast. So they give last minute discounts. I have been on that cruise and I had a really good time as well. We hit some heavy weather and the bow of the ship was really moving. The disco was rocking, literally, when the ship would start to dip you could jump and really get some air. It was amazing to watch. Van Halen playing JUMP and people going into orbit..
