Mexico All Inclusive Family

George asks…

Mexico all inclusive December/January?

We want a medium size place that is warm enough to swim. Beach front and a couple of pools. Not to expensive. We are a family of five and are traveling with a family of four (my sister’s family) and our parents! There will be 2 11 yr olds and 3 9 yr olds…

Tijuana answers:

Two options: Mayan Riviera, hour south of Cancun, awesome caribbean beaches with 5 star all inclusive resorts and incredible Mayan culture! The Mayan sites around this area must be visited, including Chichen Itza Mayan pyramid, one of the new seven wonders of the world!, along with the following ecological theme parks, XEL HA, XPLOR and XCARET. Look these places up on YouTube, see for yourself! The other option is Puerto Vallarta on the pacific ocean, not as beautiful in beaches or cultural, but it is a relaxing and colonial experience, they also have all inclusive resorts, not as nice as riviera maya, but nice none the less. I have traveled to these two resort areas with my two little children and have never had any inconveniences in our many years, please do leave the resort and participate in the activities. The crime in Mexico is not against tourists and not in these tourist locations, you can buy tour excursions from your hotel and be perfectly fine. Go and Enjoy! If you want to see these locations and many more in a travel documentary, check out The Royal Tour Mexico on YouTube, very interesting and entertaining!

David asks…

Good family vacation spot?

My family decided to take a trip next year instead of buying each other Christmas gifts. Anyone know a good place? It doesn’t have to be over christmas but sometime around then. We have 8 adults and 2 children. All of us have passports and aren’t interested in a cruise.

Tijuana answers:

Mexico is nice, and yes, Cancun can be a great place for an all inclusive (especially with kids.)
But if you look somewhere in the Yucatan Peninsula that is not so tourist oriented, you can find some great spots. Isla Mujeras for one.
Also, Belize is beautiful, and you can rent cabanas right on the beach for less than $400.00 a week.
Do a little homework on-line and you can find some great places and input from others who have been there.
