Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Cabo

Richard asks…

Anyone know of a great all-inclusive hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico?

We are getting a group to go down to Mexico for everyone’s 30 birthdays next year (about 20 of us). I am the lucky planner, and have been investigating hotels. I am having a hard time finding all an inclusive resort in Cabo. We would like to be as close to downtown Cabo San Lucas as possible. Any info. is greatly appreciated.

Tijuana answers:

Hola! I do! I do! You will want to book the Riu Palace. This would be a great place for 20 or so, thirtysomethings to have a great vacation in Cabo. Its a young, hip resort that is close to town (walking distance). Go to the website to check it out. There are other resorts that have an all inclusive option, but they are either too far out of town or they are a little older crowd. I think you will be very happy with this 5 star resort. Its huge, so you tend to lose the personal treatment but because your crowd is so large, you won’t miss it.

Have fun !

Laura asks…

Is it rude to speak spanish to employees?

I’m going to an all inclusive resort in Mexico this weekend. I am pretty good at Spanish. I was just wondering if it was rude to speak Spanish to the employees. I know I’m in Mexico but most people speak to them in English. Just wondering.

Tijuana answers:

Hi, I live in Mexico.
Hope you enjoy our country.
It’s not rude if you talk to us in Spanish, we will appreciate it.
But you sometimes might not know how to say a word, so you can use English too.

Something else, few people in this country speak English fluently, so they will understand you better if you speak with them in Spanish.

I don’t know where are you traveling, at the beaches there are more English speakers, (like Cancun or los cabos) but in small towns you will hardly find a bunch or any. So speaking Spanish will also help you visit places that normal tourist won’t get to see. Visit a small town, they are amazing and magic!

Que disfrutes tu viaje!

Jenny asks…

Mexico – looking for all inclusive, quiet, cheap, safe vacation on a beach?

Hi, thanks in advance for your help.

I am looking for a quiet, cheap, safe vacation on a Mexican beach. Going this November. Quiet resort in a small town would be great. Want to spend under $800 per person. From the Portland, Oregon area.
Also I have read not to eat the food in Mexico from street vendors?
What beaches to stay away from?
Thanks again.

Tijuana answers:

Cancun and surroundings are beautiful and safe but very expensive. Perhaps the only place really expensive in the whole country. Cabos is also expensive. Huatulco, Ixtapa or La Paz are options that fits what you are looking for. To eat on the street is safe most of the times, just watch that the place is clean.
