Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Family

John asks…

Can someone recommend an all inclusive, minimum 4 star family resort in Myan Riveria, Mexico?

We have 2 children 10 & 7 and we are looking to go in the middle of February.

Tijuana answers:

Try – they have past-guest ratings, destination guides and forums, etc.

William asks…

What are some ideas for all-inclusive resorts in to moderate?

I would love to hear some ideas on some tropical places that people have already been to and enjoyed. I will have an 11 year old and 9 year old. trying to get ideas for next year around Spring Break 2011. (yes I plan earlyl lol )

How about a trip to Huatulco? In my opinion, it’s an absolutely gorgeous destination with amazing beaches. One resort I would recommend you and your family check out is Dreams Huatulco. Dreams Huatulco is located on the Pacific Coast in Southern Mexico on one of the largest bays. This resort offers unlimited luxury — everything is included! The staff truly goes out of their way to make sure you are having the most luxurious vacation possible. The resort also offers a number of fun activities and some delicious restaurants. Their children’s program is also amazing. The Explorer’s Club, as they call is open all day long and offers tons of fun, supervised activities for kids 3-12; your kids will love it!

Happy planning!

Sandra asks…

How much would it cost, per person for my friends and I to go to cuba on reading week?

We are wanting to plan a trip for next years reading week, we are wanting to go to cuba or cancun. We are in university so money is an issue, so I was wondering if anyone has recently gone on a trip at this time, where you went and approx. how much we are looking to pay?

Tijuana answers:

No possible way anyone can answer this question for you with the amount of information you’ve given. Where are you departing from? What city or region do you want to stay in? Do you want to stay at an all-inclusive resort, or with a Cuban family at a casa particular or a Mexican hotel or B&B? What month is “reading week” in? (Costs change significantly in the high and off-seasons.)

We don’t “do” Mexico, but one week in an all-inclusive in Cuba from Canada will run you roughly $800-$1200 once all fees, fares and taxes are included. You’ll see a lot of offers for trips as low as $600+; once you read the fine print you’ll see that there’s another couple of hundred in taxes and fees to be added to that.
