Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Family

Thomas asks…

My family is looking for an all inclusive resort in florida.?

I have heard about all inclusive but most of the time it just includes airfare and hotel. I have looked at club med that includes all of the activities food airfare and hotel but the price for that is ridiculous. I have found more that are a little cheaper but are not on the beach. We would really like to go to florida but I am having a hard time finding somewhere that will actually include everything. Does anybody know of a resort that will include everything but will not break our pocketbooks?

Tijuana answers:

You can try the search engine at Yahoo Travel at the page that says all inclusive vacation deals. I tried it out using NYC and Miami. Tons of results were returned, and they all showed airfare and hotel room only. There were a lot of really nice beachside hotels on that list. I guess you could go to Orbitz and book airfare and hotel and find a good deal. I use Orbitz all the time.

I went to Orbitz and clicked on All Inclusive and everything came back for Mexico and the Caribbean. Searching the web only returns a couple of very expensive first class resorts or nothing at all. I would get on Orbitz and book a flight, hotel, and car. Then, I would eat out at Denny’s or Pizza Hut every day. It can’t be that bad! You may be wasting your time trying to find an all-inclusive in Florida.

Maybe they have cottages that you can rent for a week on the beach in Florida. My family always rented the same cottage every year near Nags Head, North Carolina on the Outer Banks. It’s more like home. You can kick back and cook for yourself too if you want. You find a little trail through the sand to walk a block or two to the beach. There were just miles and miles of mostly cottages all up and down the outer banks.

I searched Flordia and cottages and found some. I’m sure you could find tons and tons if you searched. :

George asks…

Where should I stay in Mexico?

My family and I are planning on taking a vacation in Cancun, Mexico. I have one daughter (14) and a son (11). I was looking at two resorts, the Ocean Turquesa and the Barcelo Costa Cancun. Are these good places to stay? If not, where would there be a cheap, nice, allinclusive resort?

Tijuana answers:

I just returned yesterday from Cancun where I stayed with my 15 year old daughter. We stayed at a nice/cheap hotel (next to Barcelo) called Hotetur Beach Paradise. It’s at the south end of the strip at km 19. It’s all inclusive. We stayed 7 nights and paid $1650 total for the two of us including air/hotel/transfer, etc.

It was 15 min from the airport and 20-25 min from downtown so all the drunks were downtown.
No complaints at all, in fact we walked 2 blocks to a convenience store to get a Pepsi since the hotel didn’t have any. It was 1am and we were safe. No worries.

Paul asks…

Has anyone ever been to an all inclusive resort?

My husband and I and our best friends (man and wife) would like to go, but not sure where to go…..Please advise…Thanks.

Tijuana answers:

I’ve been to the Playacar in mexico. Its amazing. Its a great place for family, and other resorts nearby are better for couples. Its on the Riviera Maya and there are so many tours and things to do there. Your resort will most likely be right on the beach, you can get a room to face the Caribbean sea if you want! There are tours to Chichen Itza, this really amazing sink hole where you can swim and the water is so clear, and the world’s largest natural water park where you can snorkel, cliff jump, and do all sorts of things. My family just went on vacation there and we all loved it.
