Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Reviews

George asks…

Looking for recommendations for All inclusive Resorts in Mexico!?

I am looking for an all inclusive resort in Mexico. Mostly interested in the Mayan Riviera or Cozumel, but open to all suggestions. However, I prefer to stay on the gulf side of the country. From what I’ve read, Cancun is very crowded and extremely busy, so unless you know of a resort that is a little slower than the rest of Cancun, I don’t think I will consider traveling here. I am looking to have a low key vacation. Things I am looking for in a resort:

Must be family and kid friendly, prefer they would have a kids club of some sort
Must be beach front
Must be all inclusive
Prefer they have good food
Prefer they offer different excursions or activities (the kids really want to swim with the dolphins, scuba dive and snorkel)
I would really like to find a family suite that would house 4 adults and 2 children (having a hard time finding this especially)

I have read lots of reviews for different places and nothing has just blown me away. This will be my first time out of the country and I’m really hoping for an awesome experience. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Azul Fives by Karisma sounds like a perfect spot. I think it matches everything your looking for in a resort. Also located in the Mayan Riviera where you will find a laid back atmosphere. Most all resorts are waterfront, and most resorts have a couple of excursion, and tour desks where you can get information and arrainge what you would like to do or see. Azul Fives is close to Playa del Carmen, which is a much slower pace than Cancun. You would also be closer to the theme parks where there is something of interest for the whole family. Playa has a tourist area on fifth ave full of stores, bars, restaurants, and other interesting attractions. There are other Azul resorts, but Azul Fives, I believe is the newest. Http://

what are some of the best mexico all – inclusive resorts?

Me and my boyfriend are traveling to mexico next month for his 21st birthday. what are some good all inclusives you would recommend?

Tijuana answers:

We got married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in Riviera Maya Mexico. We took 31 people, including very seasoned travelers and everyone absolutely loved it. It was our 2nd trip to the Barcelo and both trips were awesome. Great pools, awesome beach, huge property. Food is not horrible, but not fantastic either — but it’s very palatable. Something like 14 different specialty restaurants (which have better food) and 6 or 7 buffets.

They have all the ocean games and activities — wind surfing, water bikes, scuba.

We love that place.

There are even discounts on pricing.

I posted some links to some pics online. If you PM me I’ll send you some other pics of the Barcelo.

Dreams Tulum also gets really good reviews but we’ve never been there.
Iberostar (mentioned above) is also nice but much more crowded and closer to Cancun
