Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Reviews

Ken asks…

Your experience at an all inclusive family resort in Mexico?

I am looking for personal experiences with all inclusive, family friendly, resorts in Mexico.

We will have a four month old and a five year old with us. I want there to be a nice pool and a possible “kids club” for my oldest. However, my husband and I enjoy good food and cocktails. Our daughter is well behaved and also don’t want our meals and experience ruined by others “bratty” kids, as I have read on some reviews of particular resorts.

We married at a Sandals resort and enjoyed that experience very much so. I have looked into their sister company, beaches.com, but it is a bit pricey, $6,000 being the chepeast I found for five nights.

I am under the impression Mexico is a bit cheaper, but would love to hear of any experiences anywhere else. I simply want to go to a beach where the water is clear and a warm enough temperature to get in. We will be going in mid July.

Thank you.

I’d recommend talking to a vacation specialist. Try http://www.myparadiseplanner.com Their help is free and they will definitely know of the right place for you.

If you’re past guests of Sandals you get a discount for a return trip, so you may want to check into that. The summer is going to be the most expensive time to go because all the kids are off of school, but if you look into the last week of August or the fall, or even June or May then it will be much cheaper. Probably even a couple grand cheaper. That is just my suggestion if you are able to move your travel dates.

Jenny asks…

Best priced all-inclusive resort in Cozumel for 20’s?

I’ve looked into most allinclusive resorts in Cozumel Mexico. I was decided on Iberostar until reading that most of the bars close early and its not really a place for the younger crowd.

I’ve never been, so not sure if this is exactly true or not.

Looking for something similar or advice on the best allinclusive resorts on the island. I need something that fits in wiht my budget, not super pricey like Cozumel Palace, but not dirt cheap either.

Any recommendations?

The best advice I can give you is to try looking at reviews of the hotels here:

Might be hard to find people that have stayed in all inclusives in Cozumel here on Yahoo answers.

Charles asks…

What is the closest airport to Tulum? Can anyone recommend any all inclusive resorts?

Tijuana answers:

There is an airport in Tulum but it’s small and another small one in Playa del Carmen but they are both too small for international flights. I think they are in the process of expanding the airport in Tulum so that it is large enough for international flights but I have no idea what the status of that is.

Most likely the easiest way for you to get to Tulum and the resorts in the area would be to fly into Cancun and bus/drive south to Tulum.

It’s a modern, straight highway and a very straight forward drive. If you to a resort as far south as Tulum it would be about 80 minutes from the airport in Cancun.

My wife and I stayed at the Sunscape Tulum resort a couple of years back and thought it was perfect for us. It was a really nice resort. The food, the staff and service were great. It’s quiet and maybe not for everyone but perfect for us. We even rode bikes to the ruins at Tulum. That resort has since expanded and is now called Dreams, I have no idea about this resort now but I’m sure it’s still nice.

This is a great website for travel/resort reviews, I’m sure you’ll find it helpful (Scroll down to the Mayan Riviera section):
