Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Reviews

Michael asks…

Whats the best all-inclusive in the Caribeann/Mexcio for Early November 2008?

I am planning a trip for 4 – 5 couples – any suggestions? We want all inclusive – nice beach, large pool and a 5 star. Help – don’t want to disappoint my friends.

Tijuana answers:

Have you checked out this site for reviews and candid photos. There are very few 5 star all-inclusive resorts in Mexico but you do have some very nice ones that are 4 star. The Ritz is the only 5 star resort. And it is not all-inclusive.

I always check tripadvisor while I’m researching. Check out the Palace resorts, Riu Resorts and the Excellence Riviera Cancun Resorts.

The Caribbean is huge, you need to narrow down your search a bit so we can help you.

Good Luck. You won’t disappoint your friends, the people make the vacation or break it. Enjoy)

Helen asks…

I am looking for an all inclusive resort. What do you reccommend?

Looking for a nice place that also has things to see/do nearby. Mexico, Carribean or Jamaica, I am pretty open as far as location.

Tijuana answers:

Playa del Carmen would probably be the most cost effective right now. There are some wonderful resorts — transfer and cab fees are fairly regulated — and there is alot to see. The Dreams resorts are the best resorts that I have been to in Playa and Tulum. The most surprisingly wonderful resort that I have been to was Sandos Caracol Eco- Resort and Spa. We went in early December 2009, upgraded to the club rooms and paid $1650 for 8 days flights from Norfolk, VA included. When checking out the all-inclusives, check out the size of the resort . . .sometimes the places are so large, you have to have a little tram take you from one area of the resort to the other. You get used to it, but if you are looking for intimacy, I don’t recommend it.
We have been to Jamaica four times. We stayed at Gran Bahia in montego bay all four times and loved it. They have a great beach, and all rooms are positioned toward the water. I have stayed at Gran Bahia in Dominican Republic and Playa and did not enjoy those resorts as much.
I recommend going to and to find the best prices. Look for coupon codes for each of these before checking booking your trip. And lastly, when you find a particular resort that you are both interested in, research it on tripadvisor so you can get real reviews by real people. I use tripadvisor religiously before booking a trip. Have fun!

Ruth asks…

how do you pick a hotel when you go on vacation?

I am trying to go somewhere (Mexico) and don’t know what hotel to pick? I want to go all inclusive, but what to choose. Riviera Maya area, any thoughts from those that have been?

Tijuana answers:

Here is a website to help you decide.

Tons of info and reviews on this site.

The Palace resorts are getting excellent reviews. Also the Rui resorts are popular. If you are a couple and want a couples only resort Le Blanc is rated #1

Do some research and if you have any more questions, come back and we’ll try to help you.

Good luck and have some fun researching.
