Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Reviews

Ken asks…

I am going to Cancun with my two teenage daughters. Any recommendations for all inclusive resorts?

I’ve read many reviews on Travelocity, etc. but they are overwhelming – literally thousands. I want first hand knowledge about all inclusive, as well as personal experience at resorts. Thanks!!!!

The first year we stayed in Playa Del Carmen in Sandos Caracol just north of town. This past xmas we rented a house in the Playacar neighborhood. If you like to eat out and want to see Mexico and don`t drink much the all inclusive is not worth it. It depends why you are going there. Relax or see Mexico? I will tell you that the Yucatan is far from the northern border towns and safe. The locals can`t get away with half of what tourist can.

Donald asks…

Where to go that’s Tropical, fun and not overly expensive?

My sister and I want to go someplace warm, with a beach and some fun things to do (snorkle, sightsee, layout, swim). We’ve looked at Naussau and Aruba but both seem overly expensive. Any thoughts on places to scout out that are nice, lean toward adults (not families with kids), would be warm and swimable in mid-April to mid-May, and don’t cost an arm and a leg?? Allinclusive would be OK, or not. We’re both fairly low maintenance. Thanks!

You should check out some of the all-inclusive resorts in the Playa Del Carmen area of Mexico. They usually are pretty inexpensive and include snorkeling, food, drinks, windsurfing, etc. We just booked a 5 night vacation down there for $650 a person including airfare. Make sure you check the ratings on Tripadvisor before you book anything. We found other people’s reviews really helpful.

I would look at cheapcaribbean.com, beachdestinations.com, and applevacations.com as a starting place. These websites have deals to many tropical places if you decide Mexico is not for you. Good luck!

Paul asks…

where should we go Bahamas or Jamaica?

Looking for a great all inclusive resort but have read reviews both good and bad for both. So looking for help on where to stay either in the Bahamas or Jamaica at an all inclusive resort. We Mexico but want to go to the Carribean.

Tijuana answers:
