Mexico All Inclusive Wedding

Michael asks…

Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to get married abroad?

I want to get married in Cancun, Mexico in August of this year and was wondereing roughly how much the whole package would cost, staying for 2 weeeks. I know I can go to a travel agent but thought I would ask on here first
I never gave anyone a thumbs down, just going to have a look now, thanks.
Just to add I am from the UK so I need to book it from here.

Tijuana answers:

Depends on what resort you stay at . I went to a friends wedding he had and he stayed at the Golden Parnassus. Its an all inclusive resort. It was easily in the top 2 I have ever stayed at. Only resort that topped it was in the Caribbean.

As far as costs go it was rather expensive due to guests (around 50) and they stayed there and the food is really great. You just have to call a resort and see what packages (if any) they have. I would tell them how many guests/ food options and room options etc.

Linda asks…

Where to start for a Destination Wedding?

Where do I start. I want to get married on beach 2011. Any ideas? Where is the best value for your money besides Mexico and Jamaica? What is a realistic cost for this? HELP!!!!

Tijuana answers:

Visit a travel agent that specializes in all inclusive destination pkgs, for large groups.

While most TA’s won’t have 2011 figures yet, they do have historical prices for many different places by time of year. They also know of resorts that are opening or re-opening after renovations, etc. Which are usually deeply discounted until interest is re-established. They will usually have an assortment of wedding packages & photos.

You might also want to consider a cruise wedding. Many cruise lines have complete chapels with live web cams so even those who can’t make in person…can be ‘virtually’ there.

Congratulations
