Mexico All Inclusive Wedding

Ruth asks…

Where is a beautiful location in Mexico to get married?

Got engaged 5 months ago and I would like to start planning for my wedding – hopefully in the Spring of 2012. I would really love to get married in Mexico.Where is the most beautiful location in Mexico to get married? I am interested in resorts/hotels that have all inclusive packages and planning available. I would love to hear from anyone who has been to a wedding in Mexico that was absolutely gorgeous! Thanks!

Tijuana answers:

Cancun or Riviera Maya. Plus the water is sooo beautiful!

Sharon asks…

Anyone ever been to or had a small wedding or an elopement?

Need ideas for a location to have a really small wedding (10 -20 People) or just elope (5 people). Anyone ever been to one or had one and has any good ideas on locations? Or if you eloped can you share you story?

Tijuana answers:

Most resorts in Florida, the Carribean or Mexico do this extremely well. Sandals resorts include the wedding in the price of your all-inclusive group stay and they have fabulous rooms for a romantic honeymoon. Check out:

St. Lucia is probably my favorite place for a Caribbean destination wedding. For moderately priced, I’d suggest Sandals Grand St. Lucia. If you can afford a luxury vacation, I’d suggest Ladera which is possibly the best resort in the entire Caribbean.

Jamaica is one of the fastest islands to get to and there are several Sandals resorts there – I would recommend Sandals Negril or Sandals Royal Caribbean. Sandals Grand Antigua is also fabulous.

Another wonderful place to go is Niagara Falls on the Canadian side.

One of the most fun wedding’s I’ve ever done was an “Ambush” wedding. The couple invited their families and best friends to dinner at a local Italian restaurant that featured live music. It was all secret and pre-arranged – only the bride and groom knew what was about to happen. After the dinner, but before dessert, the bride snuck away and changed into her wedding gown, then the live music played the wedding march, the groom stood up and they were joined by their officiant in the middle of the restaurant – it was a total surprise to their family and friends who were so happy and excited about this impromptu wedding. The other guests at the restaurant (unrelated to the wedding couple) were surprised as well, but joined in and applauded the couple at the conclusion of the brief ceremony. Afterwards, we rolled out a wedding cake and passed out champagne to the entire restaurant.

Steven asks…

What are some great places for a destination wedding?

My boyfriend and I are considering a destination wedding to try and save some money. Can anyone recommend some great locations, hotels, etc? I was thinking maybe Fiji or Belize would be awesome. Any tips would be much appreciated!
LOL Yes, in this case we are not worried about our guest list. As long as our parents are there that is all that matters.

Tijuana answers:

Without a doubt, St. Lucia is an awesome place for destination weddings. But I also loved doing one in a castle in Ireland and another one in Ediburgh – The Witchery by the Castle – Oh, MY! Be sure to reserve dinner in the Enchanted Garden if you go there!

Or a haunted castle in Scotland – there are many and they make fabulous backdrops for destination weddings.

Fiji is not for the budget conscious. Belize can be a good deal- check around on the internet. Frankly, one of the nicest places was in Mexico at

What I would suggest is that you consider all-inclusives such as Sandal’s in the Carribean and Mexico. Best Wishes!
