Visit Mexico From Us

William asks…

what documentation do i need to travel to the US Virgin Islands?

I am planning to visit the US Virging Islands What documentation is needed?

Tijuana answers:

While the passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. Citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. Territory (US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico), in post-9/11 America I believe it is always wise to carry your passport if you are traveling beyond the continental states.

As I frequent traveler to the USVI, I also know how much fun it is to visit non-US islands for which passports are a must. (Many are a quick hop by seaplane or boat.)

Here is an advisory issued by the United States State Department last year:

“Implemented on January 23, 2007, ALL PERSONS traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean region are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States.”

Maria asks…

How do I say Cerveza in Chinese?

That way when I visit Mexico, and the Chinese illegals in the US get deported back to Mexico i’ll be ready.

Tijuana answers:

That’s funny i like that. They are saying deport back to Mexico so with that you have to guess they want all illegal people deported to Mexico, oh and annie are’nt you one that says send them to Mexico?

Mary asks…

Can anyone help me with corn tamales in Mexico?

Im visiting Mexico and they sell these corn tamales off the street. They are REAL tamales, not the ones in the US. They are inside corn husks and have green salsa and chicken inside. Does anyone know the calories in these? Or if they are high or low in calories? Any help would be appreciated!

Tijuana answers:

The Masa used to make the corn flour Tortillas is Masa and the mixture for Tamales is made from Masa and Lard. Lard as you know is pure fat. Please see the link.
