Your Questions About Mexico All Inclusive Resorts Cabo

James asks…

What is the real difference between Cabo San Lucas and Cancun?

I got a few questions, can ya help?
Me and my girl wanna go to Mexico for spring break, we are in our 20’s. I know a lil about Cancun, from what I seen on MTV, but know nothing about Cabo.

1) What is the difference between the 2 in terms of activities, beaches, sights, and nightlife?

2) I seen allinclusive resorts at Cancun, they have this in Cabo too?

3) Is either signifacntly more expensive?

Thanks for any help. I appreciate all answers.

Tijuana answers:

You will never find the same weather in Los Cabos.
Cancun’s weather is 100% better.

Los Cabos is more expensive than Cancun.

You will have so many more activities and nightlife available in Cancun than in Los Cabos.

Better beaches in Cancun, you also have Cozumel and Isla Mujeres near Cancun.

Remember you also have archeological zones near Cancun, Chichen Itza is a must-see.

Good luck

Cancun has much more in terms of daytime activities and nightlife, and stays open later. Cabo is much smaller and you’ll probably visit some nightspots more than once during your stay.

Cancun’s beaches blow Cabo’s away – no comparison. The water is unbelievably turquoise and the sand is white and fine as flour.

Every vacation destination has all-inclusive hotels. I would recommend it in Cancun but not in Cabo.

Cancun has pyramids and eco-parks for snorkeling, hiking, etc.

This is definitely not a bash on Cabo. I liked Cabo’s weather better. The heat is dry, not humid like it can be in Cancun. Spring break time shouldn’t be that bad in Cancun though.

We had a great time riding ATV’s on the beach in Cabo, but aside form horseback riding, that was about the only worthwhile activity away from the beach.

You’ll probably spend more on a Cancun trip because airfare will cost more. Once you’re there you’ll spend similar amounts of money on food, nightlife, souvenirs, etc. More activites obviously means more money, but not too much.

For you and your girl, I recommend Cancun. Cabo is a great alternative though. The Meliá San Lucas is a beautiful hotel. If you do decide on Cabo, make sure to have breakfast at “The Office,” a restaurant located on the beach.

STAY AWAY FROM THE TIME SHARE SELLERS! They’ll offer you discounted packages on tours and activites, but you’ll have to waste 1/2 a day of your vacation listening to “don’t take no for an answer” salesman pitching a vacation “club.” With online travel, you don’t need what they are offering.

Maria asks…

Where is the best place to stay at in Mexico?

I want to plan a trip to Mexico this summer, preferably on the western side like Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco etc. Just want some suggestions on where i should go. What city has the best nightlife, activities, tours, etc. Also what resorts are good? I am looking for an allinclusive resort with good service and food and nice accomodations. Any recommendations would be a big help! Thanks!

Sandy asks…

How do I prepare for a trip to Cancun, Mexico for exactly 1 week from now?

One week from today, God’s willing, my parents and I will be taking a trip to Cancun , Mexico. I ‘m a 40year old lady and my mom will be spending her birthday down there. We will be staying at an all inclusive resort. The name of the resort is: Crown Paradise Club Cancun. How can i prepare for this trip and what can should i expect?

Tijuana answers:

We went to Cabo San Lucas a couple of years ago and had a blast in an all inclusive hotel! The main thing not to forget is any medication that you take, also some light clothing, pick one evening dress and shoes, other than that it’s just casual, flip flops, a pair of jeans and shirts.
Don’t take too much cash, the cash you do take make sure it’s small bills and keep them in different places. NEVER leave your passport in the hotel room. Don’t take/wear much jewelery. And have fun!!!
